a. Enhancements to code of practice on buildability and amendments to building control (buildability and productivity) regulations 2011 to accelerate adoption of Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA).

[Singapore Economy 2030] : Seizing Opportunities, Energising Enterprises

This year, the Ministry of Trade & Industry (MTI) has partnered Singapore Press Holdings (SPH) to produce the Budget Booklet for Businesses.

You will find a comprehensive overview of how the Government will support businesses in capturing new growth opportunities and being future-ready in this booklet. The strategies laid out for the four key areas of Services, Manufacturing, Trade and Enterprises are designed towards long-term, sustainable growth.

Singapore Polytechnic Learning Journey – March

25TH MARCH 2022

As invited by Dr Yin Xijiang, Director of the Advanced Materials Technology Centre of Singapore Polytechnic (SP) and his team, SBMSA President Ng Soy Ng and 15 committee members visited SP Advanced Materials Technology Centre and 5G & AIoT Centre on 25 Mach 2022. 

Dr Yin and his team shared with the attendees on the advanced building materials and technical services : 

  • BE Materials for Sustainability, Buildability and Maintanability
  • Building Maintenance and Repair
  • Past and Ongoing Industry Commissioning Projects for the BE Sector

Members also had the opportunity to learn about the advanced 5G & AIoT technologies and their applications in digitisation and automation.

The objective of this learning journey is to promote the cooperation between SBMSA and the SP Advanced Materials Technology Centre. SBMSA hopes to help members in need by promoting the collaboration between SP and the members in the areas of improving the products and technology, facilitating in BIP Clearance, etc.
