Hon Secretary Mr. Kenny Lim represented the association to attend RCEP 40th China International Ceramic and Bathroom Fair, which was held from 18-21st April 2024 to share on opportunities and growth in the Building Materials Sector in Singapore.

On April 13, 2024, President Ng along with a few committee members, visited the URA Singapore Smart Nation exhibition to gather material for the upcoming SBMSA 95th Anniversary Magazine.

The Association hosted its first networking dinner for 2024 at Yan Palace Restaurant, with 48 members representing 24 companies in attendance. During the event, three new companies—Design Frabrik Pte Ltd, 8+1 Advisory Pte Ltd, and Saint-Gobain (Singapore) Pte Ltd—received their membership certificates and pins from President Ng Soy Ng. Additionally, representatives from Design Frabrik Pte Ltd and Saint-Gobain (Singapore) Pte Ltd presented their company portfolios before the dinner.
