[For Dissemination – BCA Circular] CONQUAS 2022

NEW CONQUAS 2022 STANDARD

1. The Built Environment sector has shown commitment to building better quality projects by making steady improvements over the years, supported by BCA’s initiatives and schemes on construction quality.
   
   BCA works with industry stakeholders and residents to undertake frequent and regular reviews to calibrate BCA’s Construction Quality Assessment System (CONQUAS) to the changing needs of homeowners.
   
   
2. Over the last year, BCA and relevant agencies have engaged builders, developers and trade associations to improve CONQUAS. BCA has released the new CONQUAS 2022 standard, to help developers and builders continually improve their construction quality and processes to minimise defects incidences.
   
   BCA is also developing a new CONQUAS branding system to help home buyers better discern the workmanship quality and excellence of developers and builders based on their track records in private residentials projects. 
   
   Details for this banding system to be released later.
